Kristy McNichol is a former actress & singer. She’s famous for her roles in the movies  Little Darlings ,  Only When I Laugh ,  & Empty Nest . She won 2 Emmy Awards for her part in the series Family. In 1980, she was the lead in the coming of age drama  Little Darlings . Her performance was praised even by those who didn’t like the film. Later that year she starred in the movie  The Night the Lights Went Out in Georgia  and got a 6-figure paycheck – an all-time record for a teenager.

Tina Louise – 1934

The world became acquainted with Tina Louise when she appeared in the  CBS  sitcom  Gilligan’s Island  as Ginger Grant. She got married four times and her relationship with Howard Hughes became a subject of controversy as they may or may not have married, which remained a mystery as Hughes allegedly destroyed any evidence. She’s a glamorous grandma and a former actress of the ’70s and ’80s. Loni Anderson is mostly remembered for her appearance in the sitcom  WKRP in Cincinnati  as Jennifer Marlowe. Today, Loni is 72 and clearly doesn’t need any face lift, for as you might have noticed, her beauty is timeless and glowing! She also hosted several TV shows including  20/20  and  The Today Show . After quitting her hosting role in 2004, she continued to partly contribute on specific  ABC News  interviews till 2016. Interviewing Donald Trump as a presidential candidate in late 2015 was her last on-air appearance. Walters is battling with heart problems, something that she revealed during a 2010 episode of  The View  explaining that she was scheduled for open heart surgery during that time.

Remember the rusty yet passionate voice of Carl Fredricksen in the animated film,  Up (2009)?  It was Ed Asner’s voice! However, Asner was famous as an actor much before that. His portrayal of Lou Grant in  The Mary Tyler Moore Show  was what made him well-known in the first place. The character was so popular back then that later, he even had his very own spin-off series,  Lou Grant . Recently, his contributions to the world of autism speak volumes about his love for his children  (one of his children is autistic) . Linda Evans – 1942

Linda Evenstad, also known as “Linda Evans,” is a popular American actress known for her various roles on TV. She was born November 18, 1942, and started her career as an actress when she was seen on the Western series show, “ The Big Valley ” in the early 1960s. Then by the 1980’s she was also part of the “ Dynasty ” until 1989 and showed exceptional passion with her profession that resulted in an enormous amount of wealth.

As she departed from the show, she has established companies of gyms and clubs concerning health. But then returned as part of the series “ Dynasty: The Reunion .” She then retired from her career in acting in the year 1997. We’re pretty sure you remember Lee Meriwether from several different roles. Dick Van Dyke – the man’s life has been as poetic as his name. Julie Andrews might have won the Oscar for  Mary Poppins (1964) , but Van Dyke wasn’t far behind. Clu Gulager – 90

He is 90 years old now, but he has no retirement planning set into motion yet! Martial arts film actor and ex-bodybuilder Bolo Yeung is still alive and in the best possible shape. The star’s real name is Yang Sze but is called as Bolo owing to his famous character Bolo in  Enter the Dragon.  He was awarded the title of Mr. Hong Kong bodybuilding champion and kept it for 10 long years. His son David, known as ‘Bolo Jr’, himself is a fitness freak. He followed his dad’s footsteps and is now a strength trainer for MMA athletes. In addition to it, he has his own YouTube channel. Popular American actor Jamie Farr was supposed to have a recurring role on the TV series  M*A*S*H . Bob Newhart – 88

There have been many comedians over the years, but none as expressionless as Bob Newhart. He is widely considered to be one of the greatest deadpan comedy artists of the century. Apart from entertaining audiences on the stage, Newhart has also appeared in various movies and TV shows. His most memorable appearances include the ones in  The Alfred Hitchcock Hour  and more recently, in his recurring presence over  The Big Bang Theory . There was a time when he barely survived a secondary polycythemia, which he was afflicted with due to heavy smoking. But post the operation, he reportedly never took another drug.

Hal Holbrook – 93

The American stage legend, Hal Holbrook, achieved fame and recognition unexpectedly in 1954. Here’s how it all panned out. He went on stage in the Lock Haven State Teachers College and enacted the best portrayal of Mark Twain. Unbeknownst to Holbrook, the popular TV show host, Ed Sullivan, came across his performance and decided to display it on  The Ed Sullivan Show . The praise was instant, and it led Holbrook to become an established stage actor after that. Film and television job offers followed, and he eventually became a legend. His recent appearance apart from his very own show,  Mark Twain Tonight , was in  Grey’s Anatomy  as a retired thoracic surgeon.

June Lockhart – 92

You might recognize June Lockhart when she appeared on  Cold Case  and  Grey’s Anatomy.  Then,   you ought to look back to the ’50s and the ’60s to chart her origin and eventual rise to fame. Her portrayal in TV shows, like  Lassie  and  Lost in Space , brought her the attention she deserved. However, she had received a Tony Award for her outstanding Broadway performance much before that. Her personal life wasn’t as fruitful as her professional one though. After divorcing two husbands, she has abstained from marriage ever since. Robert Clary – 92

Robert Clary was one of the few people who survived the dastardly Nazi concentration camps with the help of nothing but his voice, probably lulling the soldiers into a sound sleep. The story of his life in the camp is an inspiration to all, children and adults alike. He nurtured his singing talent to such an extent that after being released from the wrongful incarceration, he immediately went on to achieve fame in France as well as in the US. Clary’s unique sense of humor eventually came to light, and he showcased his newfound skills far and wide. In 1965,  Hogan’s Heroes  helped him reach the peak of his career. Today, with an estimated $15-million net worth, he can easily afford to live out the rest of his days in peace worrying about bankruptcy or health insurance cost.

Elizabeth II – 91

The respected Queen of the United Kingdom, who has ruled over the country and its related realms for more than 60 years, is still going strong. David Attenborough – 91

The legendary naturalist and TV presenter, David Attenborough had carved out a niche for himself in the world of science and entertainment. Though Attenborough doesn’t like to be called the  National Treasure  of Britain, many of his fans lovingly still address him that way. He rose to fame with his natural history documentaries in collaboration with the BBC Natural History Unit. In 2013, he had to fit a pacemaker to take care of his heart problems. In his 90s, he is still lively commenting on and criticizing the social, political, and media issues prevalent in the country.

Tony Bennett – 91

Tony Bennett had humble beginnings in Queens but developed his art of singing at an early age. By the time he had reached double figures, he was already giving spectacular performances in his neighborhood and beyond. Serving in the US Army in WWII, he suffered his share of injuries and after the doctors gave him a clean bill of health, he came out with a newfound perspective toward life. It was not until the ’50s that success finally glanced in his direction. He suffered a huge setback in the ’60s and the ’70s but eventually turned it all around. In his 90s, we can find him jamming with the current pop stars even today.

Kris Kristofferson – 82

Kristoffer Kristofferson is a successful singer and actor who has also served in the United States Army at some point. Some of his popular songs are the songs  Help Me Make It Through the Night  and  For the Good Times . Aside from his successful solo career, he also had success with the country group called  The Highwaymen . He’s still busy with acting and singing at his age of 82, but it might be good for him to start retirement planning already.

Loretta Lynn – 86

This country music singer and songwriter hardly needs an introduction. Loretta Lynn’s long career has brought her a lot of money, fame, and success, and she is a singer with multiple gold albums. This legendary singer is 86 years old today and she suffered a stroke last year. Just a year before this health issue, she said that she felt great and had no plans to retire.

Diana Serra Cary – 99

She is known as Baby Peggy but her real name is Diana Serra Cary and she was a child star. But she was not just a regular child star, as she used to earn over $1 million per year. Somehow, her parents managed to squander her fortune due to poor wealth management. She later recovered by becoming a successful author and historian.

Caren Marsh-Doll – 99

Caren Marsh-Doll is an actress and a dancer who entered the world of entertainment at an early age. As of this year, she is one of the few known surviving members of the cast of  The Wizard of Oz , although she didn’t get film credit for her role. Caren’s plane crashed in 1949 and her doctors said she would never dance again. But she managed to recover and proved them wrong.

Janis Paige – 95

The 95-year-old Janis Paige gained fame as a musical theatre and television actress. However, she came across an obstacle in her career in 2001 when her voice started cracking due to vocal cord damage. Fortunately, after a lot of troubles and several different doctors, she managed to recover and regain her voice. Paige got her own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame several years ago, in 1960. Her last acting credit was in a 2001 episode of the TV series  Family Law.

Valentina Cortese – 95

The Italian-born actress Valentina Cortese started her career in Italian movies but she soon went on to appear in American projects as well. She was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress in  Day for Night . There have been rumors that she faced bankruptcy at one point in her life but we hope this 95-year-old has a good retirement plan.

Gloria Henry – 95

Gloria Henry gained fame thanks to the sitcom  Dennis the Menace,  although she appeared in many other projects as well. She also worked on a number of radio shows and commercials. She landed her first role in 1947, followed by many other roles in movies and TV shows. The 95-year-old could surely advise us on what cosmetics to use as she looks great for her age.

Jimmy Lydon – 94

James J. Lydon managed to achieve success despite a few obstacles. He reportedly overcame a birth defect and his father was an alcoholic. James started his career as an actor while he was still a teenager. Over time, he landed many roles which ensured that James and his family will never have to worry about an empty bank account again.

Glynis Johns – 94

Glynis Johns was born in South Africa and she is known for her light comedy roles. Over the years, she has had many important roles which got her a Tony award and an Oscar nomination. The retired actress, singer, dancer, and pianist is best known for her role in  A Little Night Music . The 94-year-old obviously cares about nutrition and well-being because she looks great for her age.

Jacqueline White – 95

Jacqueline White didn’t have a long acting career as she retired when she got married and moved to Wyoming with her husband back in the ’50s. She appeared in  The Narrow Margin , a film for which she returned to Los Angeles to shoot the scenes but other than that, she was no longer interested in acting. Not that she needed to because she was already living in affluence. However, the 95-year-old started to attend film conventions again in 2005.

Virginia Patton – 92

Virginia Patton is a 92-year old actress and a retired businesswoman. Virginia gained prominence thanks to her role in  It’s A Wonderful Life,  after which she appeared in several more movies. Virginia gave up acting because she wanted to concentrate on raising her family with her husband, and while she basically stayed on the spotlight for just 6 years, she’s still remembered for her gorgeous looks and acting talent. She still lives in Michigan, enjoying her retirement.

Cara Williams – 92

Film and television actress Cara Williams appeared in many movies during the ’50s including  The Defiant Ones.  She began performing when she was a child and continued with her passion in her later years. She married three times, divorced twice, and gave birth to two children. She later became interested in interior design so she pursued that. Her rich portfolio also includes being a champion poker player.

Arlene Dahl – 92

Arlene Dahl was considered to be one of the most beautiful actresses in Hollywood in her youth. Now at age 92, she still looks good, so no doubt that she takes care of her diet.  She became popular in the ’50s when she appeared in  Slightly Scarlet  and  Journey to the Center of the Earth.  She began writing a beauty column in 1952 marketing cosmetics and underwear. She has written many books on beauty and astrology and has earned quite a fortune in her career.

Marcy McGuire – 92

Actress and contralto singer with red hair Marcy McGuire started her career as a teenage girl. At the time, she was already working as a nightclub entertainer. She gradually retired from acting after she married actor Wally Cassel. He then went into business and became successful which meant Marcy never had to work to earn money again. Her final film role came in 1963 when she appeared in  Disney’s  Summer Magic.

Jane Withers – 92

Jane Withers is an actress, former model, and singer whose wrinkles don’t reveal that she is actually 92 years old. She has been an actress her entire life as she started acting when she was a child. Jane has had a very prolific career but she hasn’t had much luck when it comes to love. She divorced her first husband while her second husband died in a plane crash.

Marilyn Knowlden – 91

The child actress Marilyn Knowlden was lucky enough to meet huge stars like Bette Davis, Humphrey Bogart, and Katharine Hepburn when she was very young. Once she established herself as an actress she was able to finance her college education and she retired from acting. Marriage and children followed. But she returned to acting in 1994 and appeared in many musicals.

Carleton Carpenter – 91

Carleton Carpenter has made a name for himself in Hollywood thanks to his multiple talents. Actor, stage actor, magician, songwriter, and novelist, Carleton has had a very successful and diverse career. He even wrote scripts for films and television and one of his novels,  Deadhead , was turned into a musical. We never know how long we are going to live but we hope Carleton had a great retirement plan because he’s outlived many colleagues.

Betty Lynn – 91

Betty Lynn is a former American actress who started her career as a singer touring abroad. Betty was raised by her mother as her parents divorced when she was 5 years old but she later became successful in Hollywood. She appeared in many Broadway productions and she guest-starred in various TV series. In 1950, she invested in a house in LA and invited her mother and grandparents to move in as well.

Julie Adams – 91

The 91-year-old Julie Adams knew she wanted to become an actress so she moved to California and her career started. She is most famous for her work in Western movies and she starred opposite names like James Stewart. She wrote a book on her life and career which was published in 2011. She has two children who will probably get a nice inheritance.

Terry Kilburn – 91

Terence E. Kilburn is a former child actor who came to the U.S. when he was a boy.  He is best known for his role in  A Christmas Carol  and  Goodbye, Mr. Chips.  He worked alongside big names in Hollywood and he started earning serious money after doing some unpaid acting work back home. Having worked ever since he was a child, he can now finally enjoy some time off work, provided he had a good wealth management plan of course.

Cora Sue Collins – 90

Cora Sue Collins is a former child actress who grew up in front of the camera. Conrad Janis – 90

Conrad Janis was fortunate enough to be born in a creative family so no wonder he became an actor. Janis is best known for his role in  Mork & Mindy  but he had other notable roles. Conrad later became a jazz trombonist who strived to keep traditional jazz alive. This 90-year old may be bald but he sure is holding up great for a man of his age, which speaks volumes as to the quality of his health insurance.

Peggy Dow – 90

Peggy V. Helmerich is a retired actress and a philanthropist best known by her stage name Peggy Dow. She did a bit of modeling and radio shows before she made it in Hollywood but retired after only several years of acting. Peggy is known today for her charity work more than for her movie roles as she supports libraries and other charitable activities.

Nancy Olson – 89

Nancy Olson is best known for  Sunset Boulevard,  a role that brought her an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. Following that particular film, Olson landed some iconic roles in films such as  The Absent-Minded Professor  and  Airport 1975.    Even though her career was going well, Nancy has been retired since the ’80s. She occasionally makes a return, probably when she gets bored or just to boost her bank account a little.

Ann Blyth – 89

One of the last surviving stars from the Golden Age of Hollywood is 89 years old but her face is not wrinkled as one might expect. Ann Marie Blyth appeared in musicals but she also had more serious roles such as in  Mildred Pierce . She was known both for her beauty and her talents so her career continued to progress until she retired. Like many other actresses of her time, she almost retired when she got married but she didn’t give up her career completely. Ann has her own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Patrick Wayne – 80

The exceedingly handsome second son of John Wayne – Patrick Wayne had to fill in his legendary father’s shadow on his own terms. He made over 40 films in his career — out of them nine were with his dad. Patrick John Wayne carried his father’s name and made his debut at age 11 in classic western Rio Grande.

Kathleen Hughes – 89

Kathleen Hughes was discovered in 1948 in a small theatre after which she signed a 7-year contract with  20th Century Fox . She appeared in many movies and television series thanks to her acting skills and she eventually amassed a great net worth. She married the producer Stanley Rubin and the couple stayed together until Rubin died in 2014 of natural causes.

Ali MacGraw – 79

Ali MacGraw gained widespread praise for her performance in the 1969 film  Goodbye, Columbus , and was awarded a Golden Globe award for the same as well. However, it was her portrayal of Jenny in the 1970 film  Love Story  that catapulted her to international fame, and also helped her garner an Oscar nomination and another Golden Globe win. But for some reason, she was able to work in only 15 acting credits over a span of three decades. Regardless, apart from the obvious wrinkles at almost 80, the actress has aged rather gracefully!

Jane Powell – 88

Singer, dancer, and actress Jane Powell became famous during the ’40s with roles in many musicals. She appeared in movies, radio programs, and theatre productions. Powell is best remembered for her appearance in films such as  A Date With Judy  and  Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.  She was married five times with her last marriage being the longest. Even though she is 89 years old, there are no signs that this talented old lady will retire soon.

Robert Redford – 81

Robert Redford started his acting career on TV through the role he had in  Charlie Point . He later branched out into the big screen and movies like  Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid  and  Inside Daisy Clover  are what made him a big star. He later became the one who founded the  Sundance Film Festival . His last movie role will be in the upcoming movie  The Old Man & the Gun  because he has chosen to enter retirement already. As of today, his fortune is at $170 million.

Robert Fuller – 85

Actor-turned-horse rancher Robert Fuller’s raspy, deep voice made him stand out. It helped get him television roles to start his   career, as well as roles in the 1957 movies  Teenage Thunder   and  The Brain From Planet Arous . After about 50 years of television shows like  Wagon Train  and  Emergency , he retired. A few years later, in 2004, he and wife Jennifer Savidge moved from Los Angeles to North Texas to successfully run a horse ranch. He’s maintained fairly good health over the years.

Christopher Lloyd – 80

Most of you probably know actor Christopher Lloyd for portraying the role of Doc Brown in the  Back to the Future  movies. This was not his only major role because he also had notable performances in  Taxi, The Addams Family , and  Who Framed Roger Rabbit.  He is already 80 years old today and his fortune is estimated to be at $50 million. He is also not entering  retirement  just yet for he has upcoming acting projects. He will appear in the upcoming film  Welcome to Pine Grove!  after the 2018 film  Boundaries .

Debbie Harry – 73

Debbie Harry attained global success since the mid-1970s with her band called  Blondie . Fast forward to today, she still looks amazing at her age of 73 and we wonder what kind of anti-aging products she uses. She also has not made any formal announcement that she has retired already but the last time she released an album was back in 2007. In any case, she’s been able to build her wealth, which is now estimated at $20 million. People who know Harry also know that she’s attracted to both men and women.

Keith Thibodeaux – 67

Keith Thibodeaux was famous back in the 1950s thanks to his show,  I Love Lucy . During the late 1960s, he joined a rock band named  David and the Giants.  He later left the band because of his drug addiction and the band parted ways. After getting his life back on track and converting to become a born-again Christian, he and the band patched things up and got back together. He might be in retirement from acting for decades already but he still is busy these days with being the Executive Director of  Ballet Magnificat!

David McCallum – 85

Actor David McCallum is known for many roles. But most recently, he gained fame portraying doctor Donald Ducky Mallard on  NCIS . Before that, his famous role was as a secret agent on  The Man from U-N-C-L-E . Believe it or not, he is 85 years old and still going strong. David didn’t do much acting after his gig on this popular series but we don’t know for sure whether he intends to retire from show business. McCallum has 5 children and 6 grandchildren so far.

Tom Selleck – 73

We would easily use Tom Selleck as the face of a health and fitness campaign for the elderly because even after having crossed the 70s, the  Blue Bloods  star’s body refuses to age. Apart from his perfectly large frame, the actor has found great success over a long career which began in the late ’60s, and interestingly, most of his notable roles have been as a law enforcement officer, such as in  Magnum, P.I.  and  Blue Bloods .

Brigitte Bardot – 84

While Brigitte Bardot dreamed of becoming a ballerina, she eventually ended up taking a shot at acting in 1952. She became a star when she appeared in the 1956 film,  And God Created Woman.  Bardot’s name became synonymous to “beauty”  ( and even at 84, she’s never opted for an anti-aging procedure) and films like  Viva Maria!  made her a global feminine symbol. Since her departure from acting in the early ’70s, Bardot has dedicated herself in activism regarding the preservation of wildlife. Lately, she has sparked outrage with caustic comments she’s made, like the ones in 2018 claiming that women who accuse the perpetrators of indecent assaults they sustain are hypocrites.

Loretta Swit – 80

Loretta Swit studied Drama in New York and swiftly made an effort to engage in the acting industry. She made her first acting steps in 1967 on stage plays, until landing her most iconic on-screen role in 1972 as Major Margaret “Hot Lips” Houlihan in the iconic TV series  M*A*S*H.  Swit appeared in the show for 11 years until 1983. She could definitely afford to start her financial planning in retirement. She hasn’t retired yet, though, and it looks like Swit’s still in good shape when she appeared at the 2018 Daytime Emmy Awards red carpet event alongside  M*A*S*H co- star and close friend Jamie Farr.

Philip Michael Thomas – 69

Philip Michael Thomas auditioned for his first role when he was a student. Eventually, he decided to drop out to pursue an acting career. He got his big break in the ’80s in the hit TV series  Miami Vice,  where he portrayed Ricardo Tubbs. Since then, Thomas hasn’t managed to land any more notable roles. Although, video game fans might recognize his voice from  Grand Theft Auto: Vice City,  where he lent his voice to one of the game’s characters, Lance Vance. Though Thomas surely doesn’t require any wrinkle treatment, he might need some financial help as he hasn’t acted since 2015—and we doubt he’ll ever return to the spotlight.

Harry Belafonte – 91

Harry Belafonte’s contribution, both to music and acting, has been remarkable. He now stands as one of the most important living stars of the past century. Belafonte originally started his music ventures in the late ’40s with his breakthrough album called  Calypso  topping the charts. Fast forward some decades later, he’s now considered a music god. Moreover, Belafonte gained fame for acting appearances in movies such as  Island in the Sun.  Retirement investments are not the only things that motivate him. Belafonte has been a vivid political activist. In the latest US Presidential Elections, he expressed his support towards Bernie Sanders, believing that he had a noble vision for America.

Herman Wouk – 103

When people call you the American “Tolstoy”, then you are far more than just good .  Herman Wouk has been one of the world’s most prolific writers, with his work having thousands of fans across the world. Wouk started publishing his novels shortly after joining the WWII with his first successful one,  The Caine Mutiny,  earning him a Pulitzer Prize and his first big paycheck. Amazingly, Wouk had also kept a personal diary since the ’30s! He’s now 103 years old. In 2016, he released his latest work—a memoir called  Sailor and Fiddler: Reflections of a 100-Year-Old Author.

Mr. T – 1952

Lawrence Tureaud, popularly known as Mr. T, was born on May 21, 1952, in Chicago, Illinois. He is a well-known American actor, TV personality. He is also popular for his unique hairstyle and huge gold chains. His fame and success have contributed to overwhelming wealth and investments. This includes numerous houses and cars. But then, he suddenly faded out of the limelight, leaving everyone wondering where he is now.

He may not be seen on films and TV shows nowadays, but he still appears in some commercials, including an iced tea brand. Some were saying that his looks were always the same despite his age. He was also known for entering the world of wrestling around 1985 and was then part of  WWE’s Hall of Fame  in 2014. Though there may be shocking revelations given around the ’90s because of cancer, he does not go into it that much because he is quoted to be busy enjoying life until now.

Billy Dee Williams – 81

Before becoming one of the most loved sci-fi characters, Billy Dee Williams originally engaged in acting by appearing on the 1945 stage play  The Firebrand of Florence.  He later chased TV and film roles, until eventually landing his signature one—portraying Lando Calrissian in the iconic  Star Wars  franchise. Williams’ second most notable role was the one of Harvey Dent in the 1989  Batman  movie. Though he has lately disappeared from the spotlight, he’ll be able to refinance his lavish lifestyle once more as in 2018, it was announced that he will reprise his role as Calrissian in  Star Wars: Episode IX  in 2019.

Max Baer Jr. – 80

Max Baer Jr.’s father was a famous boxing champion. And he was probably troubled when his son told him that he would pursue an acting career. Baer Jr. knew it was the right thing, though. Two years after his acting debut, he joined the  Beverly Hillbillies  cast portraying Jethro Bodine. Bodine was pretty silly a character, but he helped Baer increase his reputation and gather a good amount of money. Baer’s career after the series’ end wasn’t as fruitful, though, as he ended up being typecast. As of 2015, Baer remains the series’ last remaining member, so imagine how long ago we’re talking about!

Little Richard – 86

Richard Wayne Penniman is better known by his acquired stage name, Little Richard. He’s entertained America and the world as a recording artist since 1949. He came from a Christian background and started out acting in religious shows before moving to Atlanta in the ’50s. Billy Wright was Penniman’s main inspiration leading him to start recording his own music. Little Richard embraced the gospel genre when he started out. But along the way, he switched to secular music. He also suffered from substance abuse problems but turned things around and switched back to evangelism in 1977. However, he retired from showbiz permanently in 2013 after undergoing hip surgery.

Pat Priest – 82

Pat Priest had been involved in the acting business for decades, though not all of them were as lucrative as they could have been. Her most prominent role was the one of Marilyn Munster in  The Munsters  after she replaced Beverly Owen, who left the show. Priest had minor roles in other popular series as well, such as  Bewitched  and  The Mary Tyler Moore Show.  Priest’s retirement came in the ’80s and we don’t know much about her since then apart from the fact that in 2001, she began battling with lymphoma, and it seems that her treatment has been successful, as her condition is now in remission.

Rita Moreno – 86

Rita Moreno never thought that her acting and award portfolio would become so big when she first started dancing in her early teenage years. It was during the ’50s that she started acting. And after starring in  The King And I  and  West Side Story,  Moreno can take pride in the fact that she’s now one of the few EGOT  (Emmy, Golden Globe, Oscar and Tony Award)  winners. Moreno also dated some of the biggest Hollywood heartthrobs such as Marlon Brando, Elvis Presley, and Anthony Quinn. Since 2017, she has been acting in  One Day at a Time  and she doesn’t seem willing to retire any time soon.

Richard Beymer – 80

Richard Beymer’s acting career dates way back, as we first got to know him in the late ’40s. Beymer achieved success when he acted in the film adaptation of  The West Side Story  and then again for his star role in  The Diary of Anne Frank.  His last successful role was in the iconic TV series  Twin Peaks  from 1990 to 1991. He even reprised his role as Benjamin Horne in the series’ revival version, appearing on it in 2017. Beymer has also worked as a filmmaker and an author, having released one book in 2007, benefiting his credit score towards retirement.

Russ Tamblyn – 83

Russell Tamblyn has appeared in many films and musicals that Richard Beymer also starred in, though his career can be characterized as “more successful”. As a child, Tamblyn had already started acting and dancing. Collins gained international recognition for films like  The Girl In the Velvet Swing  and series appearances like the one in  Dynasty.  Apart from being a talented actress, Collins knows how to keep her looks in perfect shape—and we would bet that she knows all about anti-aging creams. She was made a Dame by Queen Elizabeth in 2015 and retiring doesn’t suit her, with her last role being in  American Horror Story  in 2018.

Judi Dench – 83

Though everybody knows Dame Judy Dench as  M  from many  Bond  movies, the English spy’s favorite associate, she has also been one of the greatest theater actresses of all time. After making her acting debut in 1957, she collaborated with the  Royal Shakespeare Company  and the  National Theatre Company  several times; receiving praise for her astounding performances. Dench has also won an Academy Award for her role in  Shakespeare in Love,  with the 83-year-old Dame’s last role being in the 2018 film  Red Joan.  We love the fact that she embraces her natural beauty without having opted for any plastic surgeries to look younger.

Maggie Smith – 83

Moving from one Shakespearean legend to another. Maggie Smith acted since she was a student at the  Oxford Playhouse  in the early ’50s. After making several appearances on stage plays and establishing herself as a top-notch actress, she got herself just as lucrative roles on the silver screen. Younger generations recognize her from the  Harry Potter  franchise where she portrayed Prof. Minerva McGonagall. Smith has won two Academy Awards. In 2018, she granted her voice to an animated film called  Sherlock Gnomes.  Smith can definitely afford any retirement investment she wants after decades of pure success.

Eileen Atkins – 84

We just can’t get enough of Dames—and Eileen Atkins is our next one. After joining the  Royal Shakespeare Company  in the late ’50s, Atkins went on to make many Broadway appearances almost a decade later. Hollywood agents started noticing her rather quickly. She’s most famous for her roles in  Gosford Park  and  Cold Mountain.  She’s not into cosmetic procedures, proving that she likes to flaunt her acting quality over her image. We last caught up with her in 2017, when she appeared in the TV series  Doc Martin.   Atkins was diagnosed with breast cancer in the ’90s, but she, fortunately, managed to win her battle.

Joyce Randolph – 94

Who would have forgotten about the ’50s sitcom that made Joyce Randolph famous,  The Honeymooners ? Joyce, who portrayed the character of Trixie Norton, took over the role from Elaine Stritch who played it only once. However, Randolph refused to portray Trixie in the show’s revival, stating geographic and personal reasons for her decision. Her late husband Richard Lincoln Charles, who died in 1997, was a marketing executive and so is her son, Randolph Richard Charles. The 94-year-old Joyce officially retired in 2000 and has a net worth of $10 million.

Nick Nolte – 77

Nick Nolte pursued modeling in the late 1960s. By the 1970s, he was able to establish himself as an actor as well. Some of his first few roles were in  Rich Man, Poor Man  and  Winter Kill.  His most notable performance was in the movie  The Prince of Tides,  with   his portrayal of the role Tom Wingo winning him the Best Actor award at the Golden Globes. Nolte currently has a fortune estimating to be around $75 million already, but he isn’t entering retirement just yet. In 2019, he will be appearing in the movie  Angel Has Fallen.

Jerry Mathers – 70

Jerry Mathers was 8 years old when he joined the cast of  Leave It to the Beaver,  portraying Theodore “Beaver” Cleaver—the role that remains his most lucrative and famous one. Liv Ullman has been one of the greatest European actresses. She left her mark in the global acting business as well, with spectacular performances in films such as  The Emigrants  and  Face to Face.   Ullman mostly starred in Swedish productions. She later also ventured into directing, achieving equal success, with her most praised work being the 2000 film  Faithless.  While Ullman could have opted for a wrinkle treatment after all these fruitful years, she loves herself the way she is. David Crosby’s life has been pure rock n’ roll. Aging hasn’t stopped him when it comes to living his life on the edge, even with the health issues he’s faced over the last couple of years—including problems with his heart and liver. He started playing music in the ’60s when he joined  The Byrds,  where Bob Dylan frequently appeared as well. Crosby then formed  Crosby, Stills  And Nash,  a rock n’ roll group which also collaborated with Neil Young for many decades, even until 2016. Crosby hasn’t lost his rock n’ roll touch. In October 2018, he released his latest album,  Here If You Listen.

Sam J. Jones – 64

If you’re in your thirties or forties, you probably recognize Sam J. Jones from his cameo appearance as  Flash  in the popular 2012 film  Ted  and its 2015 sequel. These were his latest roles as well. And though you may think that he’s not a celebrity, he actually was back in the ’80s—especially after landing the role of the titular character in the 1980 film  Flash Gordon.  In fact, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Kurt Russell also auditioned for the role, but Jones was the one who grabbed it. After becoming a star, Jones also earned more money by appearing in hit TV series such as  Baywatch.

Henry Winkler – 73

Few people have achieved such success on TV as Henry Winkler has, with him having starred in some of the most iconic series. His most famous role was the one of  Arthur “Fonzie” Fonzarelli from the sitcom  Happy Days , but he also appeared in  Children’s Hospital, Royal Pains,  and  Arrested Development.  At 73 years old, Winkler is really not interested in organizing his financial planning in retirement as, since 2018, he has been starring in  HBO’s  latest hit,  Barry.  Unlike other stars, Winkler has married only once; to Stacy Weitzman in 1978. They’ve been together since.

Catherine Deneuve – 75

Catherine Deneuve first broke into the acting scene in 1957, but it wasn’t until 1964 that she was noticed when she starred in  The Umbrellas Of Cherbourg.  Nowadays, Deneuve is famous for  The Last Metro  and  Indochine.  In 2002, she also starred in  8 Femmes,  another success of hers. Her anti-aging supplements must be pretty expensive, as not only does she stay in perfect shape, but she also keeps acting. She recently starred in  Claire Darlin in 2018.  She’s now 75, but Deneuve doesn’t show signs of exhaustion when it comes to acting at all.

Leonard Whiting – 68

Leonard Whiting is an English singer and actor most famous for his characterization of Romeo in Shakespeare’s  Romeo and Juliet,  the 1968 film version. He co-starred with Olivia Hussey, who played Juliet and took home a Golden Globe Award for his efforts. Forty-six years later, he was back working with Olivia again for the 2015 film,  Social Suicide . The movie is a British dramatic romance psychological thriller, which is based on  Romeo and Juliet  by William Shakespeare. That role was Leonard’s career exit. He now leads a quiet existence in retirement, in London. Three years after his final bow, his wealth stands at $9 million. Not too shabby at all!

Joe Pesci – 75

Remember Joe Pesci? The actor, comedian, and singer Joe is best known for his role on  My Cousin Vinny  as Vincent Gambini. But this is hardly his only famous role. Pesci gained fame after appearing on  Home Alone  and  Home Alone 2: Lost in New York , as well as for his role on the  Lethal Weapon  franchise and  Raging Bull . Joe is an Academy Award-winner who announced his retirement in 1999 but he didn’t actually withdraw completely from the entertainment industry. Pesci continued to appear in films from time to time. The 75-year-old Joe will star in the upcoming crime film titled  The Irishman,  in 2019.

Ron Howard – 64

Legendary actor and director Ron Howard is still pretty young but his set of accomplishments are second to none. He initially rose to fame when he played Opie Taylor in one of the most iconic shows of all time;  The Andy Griffith Show . After acting for some time, it was film-making he got attached to and has made some brilliant movies over the years. His daughter Bryce Dallas Howard is also a seasoned actress now. Guess the acting genes really run in the family. We hope if he finally decides to retire, he can enjoy it as well!

Jimmy Greaves – 78

Born on the 20th of February 1940, James Peter Greaves played professional football for England as a forward. Greaves ranks fourth on the list of the country’s highest goalscorers internationally and he even scored a place on the English Football Hall of Fame. Greaves walked down the aisle with Irene Barden in 1958, but they soon initiated divorce proceedings owing to his battle with alcoholism. The couple did reunite without filing the papers and they currently have four children together. In 2015, Greaves suffered a severe stroke leaving him permanently confined to a wheelchair.

Loretta Lynn – 86

Singer-songwriter Loretta Lynn has had a successful 60-year career as a country musician. Lynn has had the privilege of having a number of her albums becoming certified gold records. She’s most famous for the hits  You Ain’t Woman Enough  and  Coal Miner’s Daughter . Her musical works have also earned her several accolades for her contribution to country music. She actually takes pride in being the female country artist with the most awards in that genre. In May 2017, she suffered a stroke while she was at her Hurricane Mills, Tennessee home. After hospitalization at a Nashville treatment center, Lynn was forced to cancel her then-upcoming tour dates.

Tony Britton – 94

English actor Tony Britton has created a long legacy in the industry. He must also be proud that his children are making it big in showbiz, too. Scriptwriter Cherry Britton, presenter Fern Britton, and actor Jasper Britton take pride in having him as their famous father. Tony does have quite the long list of works that he’s appeared in over the course of his career since the ’50s. These include  The Nearly Man  and  Operation Amsterdam . He has been married twice and his first union with Ruth Hawkins yielded his children, Fern and Cherry. His second marriage to sculptor Eva Castle Britton resulted in the birth of his son, Jasper.

John McCririck – 78

Failing to join England’s diplomatic service forced John McCririck to work as a waiter at the famous  Dorchester  hotel. Luckily, as fate would have it, he ended up joining the journalism field as the host of  The Sporting Life . He also reported from the betting ring for  Channel 4  while he’d previously covered horse racing for  ITV.  McCririck took up a flamboyant persona, choosing to dress up in the most outlandishly colorful clothes while reporting. His ensembles included large hats and matched suits accessorized with incredibly huge cigars. Since 2018, McCririck has been working as part of  The Racing Paper’s  editorial team.

Clive James – 79

Translator, poet, author, and broadcaster Clive James started out his career in 1972 as a critic for  The Observer . James is Australian but he’s lived and worked in the U.K. since 1962. He’s also published numerous non-fiction works as well as memoirs, novels, and poetry books. James headlined the news in 2011 over speculations that he needed a kidney transplant. But he explained that he suffered from chronic lymphocytic leukemia as well as emphysema. Up until 2017, he had penned down  My Death Report  for  The Guardian , a weekly column chronicling his struggles with health issues.

Prunella Scales – 86

BBC’s  hit sitcom,  Fawlty Towers,  gave English actress Prunella Margaret Scales prominence in the entertainment industry. She also portrayed Queen Elizabeth II in  A Question of Attribution  and went on to receive a BAFTA nomination for that role. Scales married actor Timothy West, with whom she has two sons. Their eldest child, Samuel West, is actually an acclaimed director. The couple also boasts of both having been appointed to the OBE Commander of the Order of the British Empire Birthday Honors List. Scales supports charity and currently serves as the  SOS Children’s Village ‘s ambassador.

Shane MacGowan – 61

Shane MacGowan is a 61-year-old English-born Irish recording artist and vocalist. He serves as the punk band  Pogues’  principal songwriter and has also produced solo materials. MacGowan had his start at quite an early age and already had an array of recorded songs by the age of 12. His impeccable mastery of the English language earned him a literary prize when he was 13 years old. On the 2nd of June 2018, MacGowan received The Ivors Inspiration Award, owing to his role and contribution to the music industry. He’s had trouble with the law and singer-songwriter Sinead O’Connor is known to have ratted him out to the police in 2001 for drug possession.

Ginger Baker – 79

Ginger Baker, an English drummer, is set to celebrate his 80th birthday come August 19, 2019. He founded  Cream , a British rock band, in 1966 alongside bassist Jack Bruce and guitarist Eric Clapton. Baker adopted a musical style that fuses jazz undertones with African rhythms and is credited for pioneering the fusion of drums into the heavy metal and jazz genres. In 2016, Baker shared that he had heart disease that came about from the many years that he’d spent smoking heavily. That same year, he underwent open heart surgery. Unfortunately, he later had a bad fall and developed swelling around his legs and feet.

Johnny Clegg – 65

Jonathan Clegg, who is better known by his stage moniker “White Zulu”, is a musician who was born on June 17, 1953, in England but was raised in South Africa. Over the four decades of his career, the legendary artist has sold more than 5 million albums that he worked on with his multiracial band that attracted a huge international following during the white minority rule in South Africa. Clegg’s hits were primarily inspired by South African and Zulu harmonies and rhythms as well as folk and western musical influences. The pancreatic cancer survivor currently enjoys feeding birds and growing flowers in his garden.

Jerry Stiller – 91

Jerry Stiller is a celebrated comedian, actor, and author . Stiller and wife Anne Meara, who sadly died in 2015, got married in 1954.  The duo worked as a comedy couple in the ’60s and ’70s and they are comedian Ben Stiller’s  parents . Later, Ben took on the role of Frank Constanza on  Seinfeld  and moved to  Kings of Queens  as Arthur Spooner, a role he kept for almost ten years. Over the course of his acting career, he’s also made appearances in multiple motion pictures, TV commercials, and skits. Jerry, who is 91 years old,  was recently rushed to the hospital after suffering stroke-like symptoms on January 9, 2019.

Leah Bracknell – 54

Leah Bracknell, the ex  Emmerdale  star, is an English actress who is a professional yoga teacher and entrepreneur with her own jewelry line. Her role on the  ITV  soap opera earned her the  2006 British Soap Award  and a nomination for the  2002 National Television Award . In 2016, Leah was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer. To beat the illness, Bracknell makes homemade cannabis oil that she believes keeps her alive. Leah, whose birthdate is the 12th of July 1964, married her partner Jez Hughes in an intimate ceremony held in Horsham, Sussex, in March 2017.

Robert Mugabe – 94

Robert Mugabe is a Zimbabwean politician who was in power for 37 years as his country’s former prime minister and former president. He was a school teacher in Northern and Southern Rhodesia before embracing Marxism, calling for an independent black-led state. He chaired  ZANU (Zimbabwe African National Union)  and  ZANU Patriotic Front.  His leadership was quite controversial. He received praises for freeing his country from British imperialism, colonialism, and white minority rule. On the downside, he was criticized for having ruined Zimbabwe’s economy which also had an impact on the nation’s HIV epidemic in the ’90s. His governance has also been accused of dictatorship, corruption, human rights abuse, and economic mismanagement.

Pierre Cardin – 96

Pierre Cardin, born on July 2, 1922, is the creator of exclusive furniture and fashion designs, notably the bubble dress and Space Age designs. Before fame, Cardin worked as an apprentice for a clothier and tailor. He studied architecture in Paris and worked for a fashion house before launching his own in 1950.  In 1991, he was designated as a  UNESCO  Goodwill Ambassador. His prestigious fashion brand expanded into cosmetics and perfumes in the ’60s. Geometric shapes always fascinated Pierre, leading him to create the  Bubble House  in 1975. His favorite car is the  Jaguar  and he proudly owns two.

Murray Walker – 95

Formula 1 ’s voice, the legendary Murray Walker, worked as a full-time Grand Prix Racing commentator for 23 years. His knowledge, enthusiasm, and dramatic voice saw him fast become a national treasure thanks to his witty punchlines. His birthdate is October 10, 1923, and he also offered television commentary for  ITV.  After retiring from his Grand Prix Job, he went back to part-time broadcasting. He has been making appearances on  Sky Sports F1, Channel 4 , and  BBC.  At 89 years old, he was diagnosed with lymphatic system cancer which was treated because it was still in the early stages.

Emperor Akihito – 85

Japan’s current Emperor Akihito was born on December 23, 1933. He took over in 1989 after the death of his father, Emperor Hirohito. Emperor Akihito has undergone cancer treatment after the disease attacked his prostate. He also had heart surgery in the past. He revealed that it was his wish to retire from the throne. He cited his weakening health and advanced age that could prevent him from executing his duties. He will then hand over the throne to his son in what will be Japan’s first abdication ceremony in two centuries. The emperor is an honored national symbol.

Hosni Mubarak – 90

Muhammad Hosni El-Sayed Mubarak, Egypt’s 4th president, served his country for 30 years from 1981. Hosni worked in various units and formations in the Egyptian Air Force for 3 years before going into politics. In the ’80s, Mohammed increased the production of medicine, clothing, furniture, and affordable housing. He was forced to step down from the presidency after citizens protested against him in 2011. In the same year, he was ordered to stand trial on charges of attempted killing of demonstrators, wasting public funds, and misuse of influence.  His son, Aaa Mubarak, also faced the law for his affiliation with the Panama Papers scandal financial advisory firm,  Mossack Fonseca .

June Brown – 91

June Muriel Brown is a 91-year-old English actress popularly recognized for portraying the character, Dot Cotton, in the soap opera,  EastEnders,  since 1985 after one of the initial star members of the TV show vouched for her. In 1993, June quit the  BBC  show and returned later in 1997 and again in 2017. However, her appearance in the show lessened due to her problematic eyesight. June isn’t going into retirement soon. To stay on the  BBC  soap, she signed a contract worth £300k (around $387k) in January 2016 and later renewed it in 2019. In 2005, June received the BAFTA Lifetime Achievement award and also clinched the best actress recognition that same year.

Stirling Moss – 89

Sir Stirling Moss is a former  Formula One  racer who holds the accolade of being an International Motorsports Hall of Famer. Moss has won 212 out of the 529 races he’s competed in over the course of his career. Moss first retired from racing in 1962 following a crash, but he later returned to the regular racing circuit in 1980. He continued racing up until 2011 when he finally retired again. Moss fell ill owing to a chest infection in 2016. It took him an incredibly long period to recover. In January 2018, Moss chose to set his retirement planning in motion after announcing that he wouldn’t be making public appearances.

Alan Greenspan – 92

Alan Greenspan, an American economic practitioner, runs a private company called  Greenspan Associates LLC  where he works as a private financial advisor, offering consultancy services to various firms. In 1987, the 92-year-old economist was appointed by President Ronald Reagan to chair the Federal Reserve. That was the same period that he served as the chairman of the Federal Open Market Committee for 19 years until he retired in 2006. Greenspan left his consultancy company to work in the board of Federal Reserve and it boosted his  profile incredibly leading to many observers comparing him to a “rock star”

Nobby Stiles – 76

Norbert “Nobby” Stiles is a former English football player who represented his country internationally and was able to earn 28 caps. He also boasts of having scored a goal for team England and having played every minute of his team’s games in the 1966 World Cup. Stiles spent the majority of his career with  Manchester United  but also played for  Old Trafford  for eleven years. In 2013, he disclosed that he has a dementia caregiver working round-the-clock to provide him with assistance after he reached an advanced stage, struggling with a decline in memory.

Desmond Tutu – 87

Desmond Tutu, a South African cleric, and a great theologian is widely known for his activism on human rights, advocating to quell discrimination and seclusion of people based on their race in South Africa. Desmond was the first black person to be given prestigious positions in Johannesburg such as his appointment as a dean of a Cathedral in his hometown. The 87-year-old theologian received the Nobel Peace Prize in 1984 for his spirit in dismantling apartheid. He still advocates for socialism despite retiring in 2010. He is married to Nomalizo Leah Shenxane whom he met while in college back in 1955.

Linda Ronstadt – 1946

Linda Maria Ronstadt, a well-known legend for her contributions to the music of Rock and Roll, was once one of the highest-paid singers. Her successful career in music brought in huge fortunes to her kitty. In 2013, the world was in shock with the news of her diagnosis with Parkinson’s disease. This caused her career to slow down as it restricted her from performing efficiently.

Though she was known to be active in her early years in the industry, she had to slow down when she found out about her health condition. When she was asked recently as to how she is doing now, she shared that most of her days include taking a rest and reading. However, there’s a challenge she faces with that too, given her weak eyesight from old age. Linda is enjoying most of her days at home these days.

Born on January 15, 1927, at Wichita Falls, Texas, Phyllis Coates, and her family moved to Odessa, Texas, when she entered High school. She tried to make it to Hollywood during her teenage days. Finding fame wasn’t tough after her first show. She was showered in fame and wealth soon. Her popularity meant that she was one of the wealthiest actors in the US during her time.

She started showing her passion for acting from the 1940s until the ’90s. Phyllis was even featured in the popular “ The Adventures of Superman .” She has starred in many movies and TV shows during her career. At the age of 92 years old, she has an estimated net worth of $63 million. Though she is not in any TV shows and movies nowadays because of her age, she is still very much alive.

Nancy Sinatra – 1940

Sinatra is a popular name in the world of music. Clint Eastwood – $9.75 Million, California

Hollywood legend Clint Eastwood listed his breathtaking Pebble Beach house in 2017 with a $9.75-million price tag.
